Character Illustrations For Life University

Okay, so I've decided to post these two Illustrations I did for Life University. They went along with the poster in the previous post. They were actually the first two projects they asked for me to do. They named them Philo and Quinton... if I'm not mistaken, the child is named Quinton. Anyways, I did them in Photoshop beginning with a sketch. I based the man from a combination of Bill Murray and myself(yes thats me in a toga, lol) As for the child, I based him off of my brother's stepson Draegon, such a sweet little devil he is. :) Till next time

Happy Fourth of July!

I know, it's about time I posted but I've been really under the gun with this project I've been working on. It's a poster for Life University and for the last three weeks I've been holed up in my little apartment racing to finish it. Well take a look and be sure to check back next year when I decide to make another post ;)
Happy 4th and be safe ya'll

So great I had to post it here

Rick Lovell(if you don't know him, he was my teacher at SCAD) posted this on the SCAD Illustration blog, but I had to repost it here. Enjoy...

I know it's been awhile...

But I didn't think anyone would really check this blog out very much. That is simply because not many people know about it yet. Anyways,... updates:

I recently won an award for the Society of Illustrator's! My fluteplayer piece(first page on my website) it won the Kirchoff/Wohlberg award in memory of Helen Wohlberg, a $1000 scholarship! Don't mean to toot my own horn(pun intended)

More updates to come!

Happy belated St Paddys Day!

Hope everyone had a good St Paddy's Day, hope you didn't have too much fun. I didn't even drink, (yeah I'm surprised too). Actually, Iris and I went up to Stone Mtn. and hiked the 1.3 mile trail to the top! I had a really good time and even got some excercise, it was nice to finally get out of the city and get some fresh air. Anyways, got some pictures of our LOTR journey, lol.
